Hi, can you play a PAL and NSTC game on your xbox? Or do you have to stick to the region your xbox is on?
thanks

If you mean regular Xbox, I believe you need a chip to be able to play PAL on NTSC and vice versa - though I am only going what I read. I do not have, nor have I ever had, a regular Xbox.

For Xbox360, it varies by game. There is a DB of what is and isn't here (http://www.abgx.net/filename/?ch=6).

Sorry, yes a modded liteon drive. I see there is PAl and NTSC games. I know on the Wii if you have a PAL and play an NTSC you will brick your Wii. Is that the same for the xbox?
thanks

360 games' regions are determined by the game publishers. A large portion of games are region-free or at the very least Europe-Australia-US coded. Some PAL games will work on an NTSC console, others will not - and vice versa. If you check the list, it tells you which releases will work. If you try to play a PAL game that isn't coded to play on a US console though, nothing awful will happen. The game simply won't work.
