l m looking to set up a simple web forum, basic functionality such as new post/replying/getting notification, simple admin commands...no fancy stuff but should be able to integrate into my existing website page layout if poss.

any pointers
or experiences of suitable software/pref oopen source?
must be quick and easy to set up..... got php but have limited exp of...

phpbb, free easy, flexible.

You're going to have to setup a database though; as with almost every forum.
