Hi,

Okay I know this is going to look bad as this is my first ever post on this forum but it is something that I want to bring up.

First of all please let me point out I am not looking for referrals I am merely just enquiring about the referral system on BST Secure.
I posted a referral request in the Proving Grounds section of BST a couple of days ago, but my main query is the fact that it has now been on there for a couple of days and not 1 person has viewed my post. My post view count is 4...all of which have been by me. So my query is how can I possibly gain entry to the forum if nobody views the posts and looks to see if its someone they are willing to refer.

I totally understand the problem with nuisance members. I run a forum myself over at www.adr-uk.com for Mookie of Adrenalin UK which has 6000 members, the forum was created after Adrenalin UK created the ADR Patcher for PS2 and X-Box patching. We regularly have problems with members who break rules and so on.

So I am in total understanding of your need to ensure all members are ones who can be trusted.

Now im not blowing mine or anyone elses trumpet, but we are people who have contributed highly to the console community. Mookie also put in a referral request earlier this year and failed to get access to the forum as no one looked at his post. Now I could be wrong but I feel that we are both people who can be trusted, but if nobody is even willing to look at our application for referrals then how can people who would be trusting and active members get access to the forum?

Would we have to be active members on this forum first in order to get in?

Apologies if this offends anyone it's just merely a query, and I am sorry to bring up such an issue in my first post (or not even that if posting in here doesnt increase your post count, see i've read the rules ;) ) ADR members try to be active on a lot of forums but we dont have time to visit and post on them all...I know it must look bad for this to be my first post. :(

Thanks

Not sure on this but they might of made it so you cant see how many other peers have looked at your post

Also im sure that 2 of the 6000 members at your forum will be members at bst, so maby post asking their, or put it in your sig

You are allowed to bump your post to the top of the page if it falls off of the first page in ordere to bring it to the atttention of everone again. Also you will find that with the membership base over there you are bound to know a member on another forum. Why not post on other forums for people who are members of BST that you have dealt with??

Otherwise there is no other way to gain entry other than a referal. and this is for the benefit of members alike.

If you have any further questions you can mail me rather than post at DVDRom-guide. Closing this
