memory upgrade

hi guys
looking to buy a memory updrade but dont know which kind i need ....
i have a emachine 170 ...128mb at the moment and would like to updrage to 256mb
any know where to find out what specs i need

You need to first find out what memory it takes, ddr or sdram. You can also pull out the stick thats in there and basically find that out, then find the same brand, cas and just get a larger size. You also can look in the manual that came with your pc and it should recommend what kind to buy.
