printer has mind of its own

just recently , my epson c42 seems to start printing for no reason, it just prints a few lines of garbled text and spits the paper out , but it tries to use about a dozen sheets ..I turned the printer on and off and my pc said I had 58 printing jobs still to do..anyone got a clue ..is it a virus from the 'net ...
any help appreciated

reload the drivers and you should be ok.

Right Click on your Printer n go to Properties then Cancel ALL Print Jobs...
