I've got a 60gb WD600BEVS SATA drive and was hoping I could upgrade my 20gb 360 drive with it as it's a BEV drive and should work with hddss.bin. However, the only hddss.bin files I can find relate to 120gb drives which I'm guessing won't work with a 60gb drive as from what I understand this bin file contains the drive size as well as the other stuff it uses to "talk" to the 360.

Has anyone done this successfully with a 60gb Western Digital BEVS drive and do they have any pointers?

Thanks in advance...

Presumably you'd need to get hold of a 60GB 360 drive and make your own hddss.bin file from that first.
