snapped tray in drive

one of the kids knelt on the drive tray when it was out and its snapped off is there anyway around this or is the 360 shagged?

Not the end of the world mate.
I'm sure the board and laser assembly etc will be O.K
Buy a replacement drive and swap the guts.
Easy as pie.
Clip kids round ear for being hooli's.

ok cheers guys its a hitatchi drive but on closer inspection the tray has not snapped but the teeth wheels have snapped off so dont know if this makes it any diffrent. it still switches on but doesnt let you move about the dashboard with the pad, anyone fix it ill pay if possible

i've got tons of drive spares here so i can fix it, £15 inc return courier. a broken tray shouldn't affect the controller and dashboard though.
