I would like to know if DVD X Copy Platinum is any good? I am thinking of buying it off of eBay and wanted to know if it 'actually' does a 1:1 copy? Also, is there any other programs like DVD X Copy that will make a 1:1 DVD to DVD-R copy, with menus, etc.? Thanks! :t_up:

Depends what you mean by 1:1. It will shrink stuff if it is too big, also insert a warning.
You might want to check out DVDShrink instead as it is free and I would say better. Anyway, moving this to the DVD Video forum.

What I mean by 1:1, is by copying the menus and everything just like the Original.

Yes it will do that for you but as celtic said you might want to checkout DVD Shrink first which will do movie only as well as full disc and is free.
Many people find that they keep their credit card firmly in their wallet after using Shrink, far better software IMO.

Also BEWARE!!!! The newer versions don't even have a built-in decoder so they aren't the one-click marvel that everyone boasts. I personally don't care for the program at all. I have used it and compared it with Shrink and when I use a Deep Analysis with Shrink the results are better. As mentioned above, if nothing else you won't burn a hole in your wallet by trying out shrink first. ;)
