how do you setup printer to prin a picture reverse(flip)

i making a picture shirt. how do u set printer printing the image reverse?

this is just a guess, but you could probably use some sort of photo utility to save the picture in reverse image (I think Irfanview can do this) and then print it out that way???

i try that because i though you can set the printer to do that. how about photo shop 7.0 can it be done?

I don't know about Photoshop 7 but in Photoshop CS to reverse an image first draw a mask to select the part of the image you wish to reverse (in this case presumably the whole image) then in the edit menue choose "Transform" in the sub menue choose "Flip Horizontal" and your image will be reversed.

This might seem like a stupid question - but why do you want to print a mirror image onto a shirt?

here i want to pinrt a miror image on a paper, so whne i iron it on it will be in a correct place.
2)print image using reverse or mirror setting on the blank side of the transer paper

then iron down the picture under the shirt.

Well. If you have a postscript printer you can set the postscript options to print a mirror image (under printer properties).

If you don't have a ps printer ... I dunno. Its pretty cheap to get them done professionally though ...

i560 is not a postscript printer. Some things are worth spending a couple of bucks on getting someone else to do.

Jeez, what am I thinking :(.

Just open it using MS paint (Start menu, programs accessories or right click on file - open with ...), you can flip it horizontally with "flip/rotate" under the Image menu, hey presto away you go and print!

IrfanView is a FREE program and it will do this (along with a whole lot of other neat things if you want). Open your image in IrfanView, select Image from the toolbar, then select Horizontal Flip and your image will be reversed. Then print it right from Irfanview.

look u can do it in photoshop 7, thats how i used to print out T-shirts, have a look, u dont even have to draw a mask, its just view->flip->horizontal, very easy

also of course you could use paint like someone suggested

vi3tgamer, go into the printer properties and switch the media/paper type to "T-Shirt Transfer". It will then print everything in reverse. (I suppose that might have been too obvious :rolleyes: )

If you don't have that option then you need to install the proper canon print drivers. Get them from Canon's website.
