How can i take a screen shot of a dvd?

If you have Power DVD, there is a snapshot feature that will copy the frame to either Clipboard or File (you choose). Look for the Camera Icon (dependant on skin) and go into Player Settings/Adavnced for setting your capture prefs.

Yep same works for WinDVD or similar too.

Or......

Use something like Snagit as I do.
