I am still a Mod over there. Somewhat less powers than I had last week though. Not that it matters.

DM is too so I gather.

So if any of you want to make sure that all the old gang make it across to the new forum, as it is difficult for us to do it now, let us just say ...... That is your business and we can't stop you. :D

Not that we would condone such a thing of course.

You just need to edit by using the vB code like this Phil:

Dear member - Still here?

You will find that we are all here now, the moderating/admin team and all the old regulars:- beestee's new sister forum [.url]www.d[./url][.b][./b]vdrom-guide.com thanks to Hoss! :)

All you have to do is register and we will then change your status and post count to reflect your current status here.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Get it?

You just use the [.url] [./url] and [.b] [./b]to encase part of the URL. (Without the "." of course.)

Or use an image, like

http://www.angelfire.com/vamp/gg755/dvd1.gif

as long as the img tag is still enabled at cdrg, that is.

just put [IMG*]http://www.angelfire.com/vamp/gg755/dvd1.gif[/IMG*] without the asterisks. :D

What about Hoss? Is he the webmaster there? I thought that he was pretty good? Or is he just the head admin? Kinda confused here. Also, the idea of getting people over here, we can just have people spread the word by email or something. There is no need to spam cdrom-guide. Unless we want to bring that site down, then we can do all of our power to do so, and bring the community back to the sight of real site admins and moderators.

Hoss has 'rescued CDRg many a time now when there ahs been no Webby about, for example when the database tables were corrupt and things like that. It was Hoss's baby to begin with.

Thats just a brief run down and Hoss is in no way being affected by the spamming happening over at CDRG

There is more but way too much to type

Sooner or later people is going to wonder why there are no mods and decide to ask around. Ofcourse, if you ask around your fellow cdrom-guide members, then they will pinpoint everyone to dvdrom-guide.com. so we should get most of our members back.

Hoss has made an announcement about it there already. Our hands are clean of that site. :)

This is kind of a non-issue here now though isn't it?

Ya, the bad thing is alot of people would just drop by cdrg every once and awhile. They will have no clue that we moved.
