PA system from computer

HI all im wondering if anyone could help me, my dad owns a car work shop and has asked me if i can install a system where he can play music off his computer in the office over a system in the work shop.

Does anyone know if something like this is around? Not looking to spend fortunes.

M8, this is quite simple to do.

You need an apmlifier and speakers.
If you have an old hi fi unit with an auxilary in this will work.
Run a lead with a 3.5mm jack (headphone) on one end and phono connnectors (Read and White/Black) form the PC tot he amplifier.

choose the right input (AUX?) and away you go.

You'll need to consider the distance b/w the office and the workshop. Running a low level output cable/wire that is longer than 20ft would definitely ask for hum and noise if not done properly. Please tell the approx distance that you need to run the wire b/w the 2.
