epson cx5400 help needed

i have 2 of these printers and all of a suden both are acting up, one wont print black and the other wont print magenta? i have cleaned the heads loads of times on both with no joy? anyone know whats wrong and how to fix?

are you using compatable ink carts.????
i`ve found using some of these on my 5200 to show part full when empty, also had some not loading because the chip was`nt in line with the pick up and had to re align chip. but at 1/3 the price of originals you have to work this into the quality/price equation.
if your using genuine carts it may need a call/e-mail to epson.
