can you copy a + disc on to a - disc . got a 106 and just wondered if i put a + burned film in the dvd rom and a - blank in the writer would it copy ?

Dont know about on the fly but as long as you can read the dvd+r, just create an iso image of it then burn it to dvd-r, should work fine.

Yes it will work, whether writing to/from an image or on-the-fly, will also work using a duplicator. Its only the discs that are different but the content is the same.

Yup.
Once a +R or -R is burned it is pretty much identical as far as a reader is concerned. The only reason why some drives don't read one or the other is booktypes, which if the DVD-ROM drive sees the disc at all you don't need to worry about.
So it'll be fine.
