finally got my pc back up and running but is now overheating like fook.
i have two fans i installed on the back and they were pumping air in but filling the case full of dust now they are drawing the air out.
it was ok before i blew it up but now i've refitted a new psu and the pc seems as slow as hell, used to take 40 mins to convert a film now taking 2-4 hrs ffs.
how do you have your fans? in or out?

General convention is to have the fans arranged so the air flows through the case front to back. So the front fans blow in and the back ones out.
If you have fans on the front you can get dust screens for them.

all i've got is twopoxy little fans on the back of the case and the ones on the proessor and gfx card.
started in bios earlier and it said cpu temp was 91f which i'm guessing is bad mmmkay

91 Fahrenheit is only like 32 Celsius which doesn't sound too high IMO. Mine's 31 Celsius on idle. You can always try changing the fans to larger 120mm ones. Allows you to get more airflow and it's quieter as well. I only have one 120mm fan at the back blowing air out. Did have one sucking air in at the front too, but too lazy to take the front bezel off to clean the mesh every month or so.

What were you doing when you blew it up? You sure you haven't damaged any of the RAM sticks?

messing about with a dvd drive.
think i may have damaged the video card and thats whats suffering-may try the onboard gfx and do a conversion and see whats what.
had to uninstall explorer 7 as it was as slowww as fook, put 6 on and its perfect.
don't think its the ram as no other real issues-burnt a dvd at 6x and it raced through with no probs so i guess that means the rams ok.
once all the gfx drivers were installed the pc seemed sluggish, even opening windows and right clicking stuff etc so had to change the performance setting, now everythings a bit gret but opens speedy quick.
