Updates & Live

Hi all, just after some advice from those in the know.

The other week, an update became available on my little brothers XBox 360, so not wanting him to get banned or owt as he uses backup games, so I just unplugged his wireless adapter.

Just wondered if anyone knows how safe it is to perform the update, and if he will get banned from playing games on Live?

Or is it so far so good for those who have updated and continued to go online?

Many of may customers have done the update and have not been banned, but personally i would wait after the hype of GTA if you dont wanna risk it.

That's what I thought, hence taking the wireless adapter out. GUtted though as I can see he can't wait to get back on COD Live :D

But better safe than sorry.

Are there any sites which have info on the updates and potential bannings etc then? As I've googled this but not found much information available.

No the only time people find out is when its too late lol! I dont personally think anything will happen due to GTA but theres a lot of people talking about it, i believe we will never no, but its alright for me to say that as i have two, one for live(stock) and one modded. So just do what you want to.

Exactly, if you've already been tagged for a ban, as soon as you go online you'll get it regardless if you've updated or not
