pc running slow after install

pc was full of crap (u know what) and wasn't running that gud so i did a complete format.

put xp pro on and when scrolling on da net or moving a window a ripple effect occurs?

and it is running really slow i think????

Well, first port of call is to make sure ALL your drivers are up to date. Get onto each bit's manufacturers website and download the latest driver release.

i dont think that the drivers are the problem

i had the same problem its the graphic card drivers rei nstall them.

Which is another way of saying - i hope you have a firewall and some other protection.
