Do the new video card with high memory e.g 256 mb, need good monitors, if so how do you, no, check it out if it does.

As with any video card, the better the monitor, the better the picture.

But no, there isn't a monitor requirement for new graphics cards.

You could quite happily run an ATi Radeon 9800XT at 640x480 on a 14" monitor if you should so please.

You may need to drop the refresh rate down for the monitor. You should be able to do this from safe mode if your not able to see Windows when booting normally.

You also may have set the resolution too high, go to safe mode like memphis said and try setting it to 800x600 if it isn't already.
