Dual boot question

I am currently dual booting between 2000 and XP, i intend to format the drive with XP on and use 2000, and just use the other drive for donwnloads videos, music etc. 2000 is on my primary partition and is also the active partition. When i do away with XP will i still get the dual boot screen on startup, i have had this problem before and not sure if it will happen again.

you need to edit the boot.ini file its a hidden file in the root directory

you can just edit the timeout = 30 to timeout = 0 save and reboot
