Old Xbox Streaming

Hi,
OK maybe 4 years too late,
Can anyone explain to me how to setup the old xbox to talk to PC, I want to stream to media center on the old xbox but cant get it to talk to pc I am told I need to connect it to pc to configure setting but have no idea what to configure.
Any help or links please.
