Old NES games...possible to play on PS2?

I know you can play old nes games on the pc using mame...
Is it possible to play old nes games on the ps2 by some sort of emulator
or anything like taht?
Is there an emulating program/disc for the ps2?

Yup, you got imbNES (it might be nes) for NES, and Snes-Station for SNES roms. Also PGEN for sega genesis.

Yes. :) Most of them should run farely well also. Just burn ROMs and emu to a CD/DVD as instructed by the emu's NFO and you're good to go. There are some packaged apps out there that do all the work for you ... you just supply the ROMs for the app and it puts everything in the proper format.
