Hey,

is there any difference between the 2.4x time verbs and the 8x, the only reason i ask is i what to buy in more bulk and there tiny price difference.

The 8x ones appear to be MKM003 Dye, I know nothing of this dye but Im sure its up to the usual standards, however its cheaper.

I got the 2.4x rated ones, a dye I know I can trust for now.

The MKM are no doubt better but I have been using the 'Made in India' discs for some time now without a single coaster. I just couldn't justify to myself paying double for the MKM dye (which only come in the small packs here now, whereas the Indian discs come in 50-pk spindles).

p.s. I have never burned a DL at 8x and I don't think I would recommend it with the Indian discs from what I've read.
