360 Fw anywhere near London?

Hi all.

I've had iextreme installed on my 360 which has stopped a whole host of old games working. This'll cost me a small fortune to replace them all & I don't play online at all!

Can anyone put on the older FW for me so that older games will load again?

Anywhere near or around London and South East will be fine.

I think the drive is either a Toshiba or Samsung drive. I've just been speakingn to the guy that did it for me and he's saying he's not sure if he can undo the f/w or not. I've no idea if he's BSing me or not.

SE London seems fine if I get no joy out of him - wherabouts in SE mate?

Well, they can all be reversed, so he is either feeding you crap, or he doesnt know too much.

If I go back to having the non ietreme firmware - will that mean that new games won't work? Or do all games work with non iextreme anyway?

Every game will work (providing its a valid dump) on Xtreme firmware, however only fully patched games will work on iXtreme.

There is a non-stealth iXtreme also - no need to go back to Xtreme unless the games aren't done for iXtreme at all.

I'm actually being given a hard time by the guy that did it for me - he's been a bit of a lazy F-er and tells me he can't find the older firmware. I've offered to download it for him so he can install it...

Anyone tell me where I can d/l it from? Or if that's against the rules - Can anyone tell me exactly what its called including version number etc so i can try and find it somewhere?

To clarify - I'm basically after the firmware for the XB360 that is not Ixtreme that will allow me to play older backups that haven't been burnt/patched to work with Iextreme.

For the Samsung frive, you want Xtreme 5.3 (latest release before iXtreme

Its located in the _old folder in xbins Samsung hacked firmware directory.

Blimey - I'm having a nightmare here....

Turns out I actually have a BENQ drive after MS fixed my xbox.
Does anyone know if the Benq drive can be flashed with extreme or iextreme that will allow older backups to boot?

Thanks for yor help guys - turns out the guy that's done this for me is having all these problems because he can't find the latest iextreme firmware that will allow old backups to boot!

Well, there is the fact Im a forum wh0re ;)

I hope you get it resolved, but it is a bit worrying the flasher knew nothing of this release, its actually one of the most commonly used ones for people who have refurbed machines and dont wanna reburn their backups.
