@ Van

Found out how to extend the 60 day demo period.

How to manually extend the evaluation period

When the initial 60-day evaluation period nears its end, you can run the Slmgr.vbs script to reset the evaluation period. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Command Prompt.
2. Type slmgr.vbs -dli, and then press ENTER to check the current status of your evaluation period.
3. To reset the evaluation period, type slmgr.vbs –rearm, and then press ENTER.
4. Restart the computer.
This resets the evaluation period to 60 days.

Very interesting page with much more info on this and a lovely method on automating the 60 day evaluation period using task manager too that should be of interest to many! :)

I installed the x86 Enterprise version on a VMWare virtual drive, just wondering whether or not I should have installed the x64 jobby instead though? Not too sure as I'm running it in a virtual environment tbh.

If your system doesn't have more than 3.5GB RAM, the x86 version would be the better choice because it should be a bit faster with the 32-bit applications, IMO. Unless you want to run more than 4GB of RAM... :)

I think the M$ link in your post is the same as the 1 I had in this thread (http://66.197.142.137/forums/showthread.php?t=21646).
