I know its out there people have told me theres hacks out for this game. I don't want anything to do with cheating I just need to get more colors for these cars for xbl as some of them only have one color (GT1). Google turns up nothing, somebody please point me in the right direction.

Found some stuff at x-s in the game hacking section, your going to have to dig deep maybe page 6 or 7, but there are a few threads on this.

Did some digging for you....

u can pretty much edit pgr2 like u want it. All configs are stored in ini files.

But do remember to backup..

The cars are located in /CarDynamics/ and can be played on systemlink.

One of the other things u also can edit is the colors, but these will only be viewable on the local xbox, so others on systemlink will only see the original color.

When exceeding 380 mph the car starts shaking to much. I figured out that the smaller, stiffer cars might be better to mod. Like the Ferrari 360 Modena ie.

Skyline GTR (http://home.no/jugepave/misc/SkylineGTR.ini)

This is what you'll need to edit on your own modded cars

gripScale = the higher the better 2.000 is just fine

antiSpin = need to be set to 300.000 when 0.000

rearDifferential = 0.000
frontDifferential = 0.000
midDifferential = 0.000

When having so much power there must be no differential, if so the car will dag to one of the sides.

maxBoost = the higher the better

maxRevs = 10000.000 Rpm. quiet fun, but not important.
audioRevLimit = 10000.000 Sound of Rpm. sounds best when same as the max rpm.

turboCharged = 1 is turbo enabled, 0 is turbo disabled.

driveType = 2 is 4wd 0 is rwd 1 is fwd

peakTorque = Raw power! The higher the better. 3000 - 5000 is just fine http://forums.xbox-scene.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

revLimit = 10000.000 where the red, over rpm starts

topGear = 6 You can have more gears, but it will only dispaly up to the 6th.

finalRatio = 2.000 i belive is ideal, u can try differente, lower is greater top speed, higher is rapid accleration.

These is whats most important, you can also mod the cars stiffnes, brakes, much much more..

frontBrakeForce = 4.400 try this, its really fun!!

I don't have the game so I haven't made any modifications to the game. As Always try at your own risk.

ya I tried those they are cool but I need to do this on xblive so I can't really hack the files but I heard theres a trick or some glitch in the game itself to get more colors on cars in the game.

Found the color glitch for xbox live:
Go online, and either join/make a game.

Choose the car you wish to change the color of. (ex. Ford Focus)

Choose a car in a different class with the color you want the first car to be. (ex. VX220 for orange)

Go offline, and go to either single player kudos challenge, or ghost trials

Select the class of the car with the color you want to be changed. (ex. the class with the Ford Focus)

Keep pressing A until you see the small 3D version of the car on the right hand side. Do not select it with A.

Once you have seen this screen, keep pressing B until you are back at the title screen.

Join/Create a game on Xbox live, and the car you chose (Ford Focus) should be the car you have selected, but in the color of the other car.

Cool you found it. I just got the game and was starting to run the save through a hex editor, glad I don't have to search for offsets anymore. This game is kindof hard, it definately has a learning curve.

I've just been playing it on xbl and xbc, theres some pretty good games we play online besides regular racing like cat and mouse, cops and robbers, and last man standing.
