Is it possible to stream TS files through media center to 360

As above, tried converting my holiday dvds but seem to lose all the quality by the time i get them in wmv format. Is there a way of just streaming the TS files to the 360? Im sure it would be a lot easier to burn them to disk and plop them in but im trying to cut down on disks
