Hey, im flashing a benq and it erased then got to flashin bank and stalled at Bank 2, i restarted and now it wont go through erasing? will someone help me?

EDIT: drive wouldnt work, restored firmware and flashed again and worked fine, this can either be deleted or left for others if they ever have same problem.

This is usually due to the controller used for flashing. i.e. my mobo isn't officially supported by DosFlash but it does work on and off. The times it doesn't it stalls like yours and I need to retry. My VIA controller (officially supported) works every time though.

Yh i think it was because it told me to turn off the 360 but when i sent the command the drive was still on so it started to flash.

I think this is because when you turn the drive off after erasing it takes about 12 seconds to actually power off (listen to the fans) - You selected to flash before 100% power down and it only reached bank 2 before shutting down.

use the fben xxxxxxx xxxxx command, let it erase, when prompted to resend mtk vendor power off.

Wait 20 seconds, ensure full power down, press Y and press enter, power on/off drive til you get flashing bank notification.

Yh i realised, all i did was restore and reflash but this time making sure was off and it worked fine.
