hi i have an acer t180 running windows vista but need the audio driver anyone know where i can download this from any help much appreciated :cheers:

Yep, the best place to get the drivers for your laptop or pre-built PC is from the manufacturer's website.

For newer systems, Vista drivers are much easier to get than XP drivers. All big names like HP, Toshiba, Dell, Acer, Sony, etc. will frankly tell you "If you wanna run XP, you're on your own, dude!" when you ask them where to download the XP drivers for your newly bought PC or laptop. The company that my brother works for just bought him a new laptop from HP and he had a heck of a time finding the XP drivers for all the devices used on the laptop even with my help :laugh:. Sometimes, I couldn't help but wonder if Mr. Bill Gates was behind all of this? :D
