Cant connect to xbox live.

I was on xbox live a few weeks ago with an old 360 but thats been swapped now by mp3boy because of the RROD (thanks mp3boy) now the new one wont connect to live for some reason, it passes all network connection tests up until it comes to xbox live and then it fails with the error codes,
W:0000-0021
X:0000-F001
Y:00C2-03C0
Z:0000-0000
does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong, I`m connected with microsoft wireless adapter to a netgear DG834G router.

bit weird that mate,i dont think its banned from live though(dont quote me on that though matey)as if its banned from live i think you get a code by the letter Z

yh i googled the z code and was different so dont think your banned but not 100% you tryed it again? if still happening maybe best thing would be to phone then maybe?

Phoned xbox support and first thing he asked was the Z codes and when I said they were all zeros he told me to phone netgear and get them to set up the ports on the router so I done that and then phoned xbox back and they told me xbox live was down in my area. Is this possible because its been like that all day.
Gonna try it tomorrow morning with the ethernet cable and see if that makes a difference.

Yh it could of be down, yh best thing is to try again and see how you get on.
