xtreme and ixtreme problem

I have have a benq drive and I can play my xtreme non stealthed backups on it but my mate has a few newer games that are ixtreme and they wont work on my drive, Is there any way to get my xtreme non stealth and the newer ixtreme backups to work on my drive...dont want to upgrade the firmware to say 1.4 and find that my xtreme backups dont work...any help please

I dont think there is a way to get around that, i can remember i had problems with my banned xbox because it was an old firmware it would play some new games that were splitdvd. I did notice that when flashing a mates 360 with 1.4 there was an option for non stealth 1.4 so duno if that would let you play then, but i dont know too much about that firmware so maybe someone else could fill that bit in.

Yep, I am running the non-stealth iXtreme and it lets you play non-stealthed games (offline of course).

There is no way to play those games you mentioned though without reflashing the 360 or reburning the games with stealth patches. The latter is probably easier. Rip the game, patch using Xbox360 SS MErger or XDVDMulleter and reburn.
