Just a quick question here, right i've got my router downstairs on the main pc and my own pc upstairs which is connected to the router wirelessly through a usb adapter, is it possible to plug my xbox into my computer upstairs via the network cable and be able to get on xbox live?

Hey, i had that set up for quite a while for my 360, i just plugged it in to comp and made sure there was connection between the two and it worked a treat. Also my mate does it through a laptop.

thanks mate it does work i just had it plugged into the wrong network card slot
