I have been burning SVCD and VCDs for a while now. Never really had any problems.

However, latley, with the same media and same standalone, all my burnt discs have begun stuttering at the end - they break up into blocks and eventually freeze - this usually starts with about 4 minutes to go.

Now, the only thing I have changed is my Nero as a new version came with my new PC. But I have also tried it on ALcohol and Record Now Max with exactly the same results - both programs I have used in the past without problem.

I am using my old Burner whcih is an LG and I have also tried it on my New Pioneer AO7. Same results, is it a software settign I am missing?

Thanks.

I know you said you are using the same media as before, but what you are describing has got to be down to bad media as far as I am concerned. Is it a new batch you are using?

Yeah, definatly sounds like media. Does this happen when you play the discs on your PC?

It's he same batch and it does happen when I play the disc on my pc (have also tried it on 2 other dvd players).

Is it possible to get a get a bad batch within a batch, if you see what I mean?

I'll try ad get hold of a few other blank cds and post the results when I've watched.

Could try scanning the CD for errors. If you have a Lite-On drive you could use k-probe otherwise something like Nero CD Speed.

Also as it sounds like you are talking about a BIN/CUE you could try mounting it and see if it plays ok.
