I am having trouble tracking games down at the usual places, along with the Security Sector .bins that are able to actually play on my NME chipped 360.

I have been recently frustrated with the usual "Please place this disc in an xbox360" error screen or not being able to find the correct SS file.

Would the game "releases" be more compatible with my 360 if I had the NME chip removed and flashed it to IXtreme 1.4?

For the record, I do not care for or play on Live.

Yes - In fact Id suggest it.

Xtreme is the most common hack available and also games are just as common.

Definitely - patching the games to work with NME is a pain, any you download/buy will generally be Xtreme compatible.

if you use the nme associator it takes 30 seconds to patch

Any image you have will work after you do this

I chipped mine with the nme 2.0 and it works great but I have flashed the firmware on about 40 of them I dont think i'll ever chip another one again unless someone really really really wants one

I know how to patch, associate, merge, etc.

It is just a pain in the *** to find the correct security sector .bins

ss.bin can be extracted from an xtreme compatible image using xdvdmulleter
