Sky Broadband and 3rd party router??

I was wondering if Sky broadband could be used with a 3rd party router like Belkin?
if so, can someone tell me how to configure a Belkin router please?
My router that came from Sky broke after 3 weeks......

I tried using my sky details, (username)@sky.com and my password but the router can't seem so get an internet connection.

Unlessd your Sky Router will power up, to extract your ADSL login details, you are going to have to speak to Sky and get a new Router.

Go here m8 and at the bottom of the page you will see get user name and password
