dvd player passwords?

lg dvd4710i have the above model i got second hand, the child lock is on and i cant take it off without the correct code, anyone know the factory setting code or software to return it to factory settings?

most films play ok, the odd 1 or 2 that has been ripped from retail seems to be the main probs.
