Hi peeps,
I think I have a problem that can be resolved but need a hand from more experienced folk like yourselves to advise if I do have a problem and if it can be sorted.
I presently have BB with Sky. On my desktop PC the connection is great and usually reaches speeds of 7 meg when downloading. Now I have a laptop - Acer Aspire 5684WLMi - that sits right in front of the router...and I mean only like half a foot away.
Now due to a virus on my laptop that could not b resolved the laptop was retored to original factory settings which sorted everything out.
But now I am aware the internet speed on the laptop - while sitting close to the router - has a terrible download speed. This is even with the desktop PC not downloading anything.
I ran a check on PC pitstop that advised my desktop PC is downloading at 2279kb per second - which is OK as laptop was downloading at the same time. But the laptop is only getting 739kb per second download speed!!!
I am fairly sure the speed was quicker on the laptop before I reset it and was wondering if I need to tweak something???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
