what are some good ways to teach a newbie how to solder

right now I'm just messing around with old computer MOBOs, I'm gonna move up to the better stuff when I get more skills. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can develope better soldering skills.

well you should try to learn the basic first... put soldier on the place you are trying to soldier too... by heating it up... this will transfer whatever soldier you have on your iron to it.. and then put some on the wire... and just heat the wire up and touch the place and it should stick... use *flux* use *flux*

use some fine wire and practice soldering to the legs of a small chip on the board as you will need to do this in the ps2.
