Receiving a duplicate message each time I Send/Receive from hotmail into Windows mail

I'll try to explain,

I have my Hotmail account linked into my windows mail account under Vista, the problem is each time I press the send and receive button I get another copy of all the mail I have already downloaded, how do I set this to only receive mail I haven't got already?

Any ideas?

If the Hotmail account is your only account:
Select Tools | Options... from the menu.
Make sure Send and receive messages at startup is not checked.
Click OK.
If you have more than one account:
Select Outlook Express from the Folders tree.
Make sure When Outlook Express starts, go directly to my Inbox is not checked.

That usually happens if the "Leave a copy of messages on server" is checked in the account properties. (Tools --> Accounts --> Properties)
