wiininja v2 - no mario galaxy?

Hi

Pretty sure my Wii has Wiininja v2 which i gather is "not upgradable"??

Does this mean I cant play SMG? Even if I buy original?

If so, can i get this chip replaced

original should work fine as it checks for recordable media not the presence of a modchip. the check is likely to be put into more games in the future so i'd recommend you have your chip upgraded to a wiinja deluxe (straight swap onto the existing wires) or a wiikey (needs a full reinstall).

what about a wiifree is that a fresh install or just a chip swop ?

the open source chips use the same wires as the wiinjas so that's a fairly easy swap

the pal version has the same anti-copy protection as the ntsc version
