Have been playing with my tomtom and have somehow managed to delete the up and ireland map from my memory card anyone know how to reinstall it onto the system (dont have a backup lost it in a pc crash)

Or is it possible for someone to upload the map itself ???

You have to pay for maps, and they are usually unit encrypted.....however there is a tool going about that unlocks it.

Was the map - Western Europe?

I have a Tom Tom Go 720 and can send you my map on a DVDR

Map is just the standart uk and ireland one for the tomtom one unit i would have thought you could have reloaded it from either the website or atleast the disk itself

Have mailed tomtom support to see what they can suggest

I still have everything on the card its just the map folder i lost so if the encryption details as long as there not in the map folder should still be on the unit
