hi i used winamp for playing videos.

Now it only plays mpeg1 and divx videos, not mpeg2(svcds)

Powerlink dvd player plays them, but i want winamp to...

i tryed reinstalling winamp, didnt work

any ideas?

You need a SVCD codec. Try reinstalling the dvd software, that should reinstall the needed codecs, if not, search google for like 'download svcd codec' or somthing :)

just reinstalled powerdvd, winamp still doesnt work.

also flipped to winamp 5, and that doesnt work either.

also windows media player 2 doesnt play mpeg2s either, it plays sound... but no video.

Hmmm...well if it plays sound, then its deff a codec problem. This (http://download.divxmovies.com/mpeg2codec_installer.zip) codec really sucks (the AR seems to be fuked up most of the time) but see what happens. You could also try installing WinDVD or some other DVD playing program. Also, I think VideoLAN can play SVCD w/o a codec.
