What mod chip do you think is the best one available for the PS2?

I agree that the DMS3 is my choice as well. However, the Messiah 2/Pro and the Duo chip are also strong contenders.

DMS3 gets my vote as well unless you have a v9/v10 console. If you don't mind the frustration of a chip that only works sometimes on some consoles, then it's great for v9/v10 PS2s. :D Otherwise, Messiah 2 Pro and Matrix get my vote for v9/v10.

M2Pro's in mine and has worked just fine. Never once had a problem with it personally...not that I ever use the dusty thing anymore. :)

I believe the silver PS2s are all v9/v10 consoles so Messiah 2 Pro or Matrix would get my vote for that. Matrix chips are about $20 USD, Messiahs are about $35.
