outlook express

just been reading that its better to use another program for emails .I was just wondering wat everybody else use?

Been using Eudora for a while now. It works fine. The email client in Mozilla is nice too.

It you like to stick with Outlook Express check the option to not view HTML email messages and view them as plain text.

Outlook is also good. I used netscape which worked OK for me too. Personally I hate Eudora, but thats just based on personal preference.

People will tell you its better not to use outlook express (<- edit) because it is the prime target for malicous code etc - however, if you are vigilant with your settings, and your AV and associated software there is no reason for panic.

I'm using Outlook Express and it's fine. Just make sure your security software is good and updated frequently.

yeh as long as ur careful outlook is fine

Change to receive as plain text, also have the preview pane turned off as some scripts take advantage of that

Also I have all items over 30KB go to a 'suspicious' folder so very rarely get viruses inb my inbox, and AVG's mail filter picks them up if I do anyway :)

I use Outlook XP but same applies to express
