can some one help me take care of this Aol error

i recently installed aol 9.0 on my pc running windows 98. this is what i dont understand. why is it that it will let me log in and give me the home page, but when i enter a web page or a word to search i get page cannot be dislpayed. also i tryied loging in aol but using my Internet explorer and the same error occurs, can some one help me please. Thanks

Have you tryed pinging a site? Go to a Comand Prompt and type in "ping google.com" see if it does anything.

But the most easiest sollution is to dump AOL, its the worst ISP in my opinion and many others.

:laugh: ditto. There is no reason to pay that much for internet service at any spead, dial-up or broadband.

AOL runs off of internet explorer, and you might need to repair/re-install it. That might be interesting to do, if you can't access any webpages. Can also try reinstalling AOLHELL.

AOL software seems to contain a bug or something but I rememeber that after uninstalling it, my dial up internet doesn't work at all with any other isp!
