Evening everybody
having major problems getting my 104 to burn at anything faster than 1x. i got some beautiful datasafe riteks (4x) and when i try to burn at 2x, it cuts the speed down to 1x.
im burning from dvd image using stomp recordnow max.
i think at the moment the FW is 1.20 and on the pioneer website it has a link for the following
DVR-A04, DVR-104 ! IMPORTANT Firmware Upgrade Message (http://www.pioneer.co.uk/eur/support_update.jsp?category=support/update)R4ta141.exe (http://www.pioneer.co.uk/eur/download.jsp?dir=/files/support/dvrup&filename=R4TA141.EXE)Firmware Upgrade Ver. 1.41
Caution! Once the drive has been updated to this version, the drive will NOT be able to be restored to an earlier firmware version.
should i upgrade to that or not?? considering its non-reversible ( or so they say)
