(ikernal.exe) problem

got these popup errors on my laptop when desktop screen loads...

1st one says installshield then 2nd pops up in front saying
the installshield failed
(ikernal.exe) could not be installed
the system cannot find the file specified

I have ran virus scan etc and ran regcure also deleted the old installshield engine folder...then updated installshield engine...but no luck I still get the popups when windows has loaded...I am using windows xp...any help please
