Can I rip a dvd movie to Divx with my xbox?

Is is possibal to put in a movie and run a program that will rip it to a divx file on the hard disk?

errrr.... no not yet anyway- thats is quite alot of work and i doubt an xbox with its 64mb ram would ever realistically be able to do it.

besides there are many pc solutions to this, autogk, gknot, nero, vidomi (although i wouldn't)

dvd2xbox will rip the dvd to the hd and remove the encryption but seeing as xbmc/xbmp are the only ones that would be able to play it off the hd and they can't deal well with menus- its not that useful
