DVD keeps locking up

Hi,

I have this problem with some of my dvds that they sometimes just stop and I get the 'unable to read disc' error, this happens on a few dvd players so it isn't just one.

Thing is, the dvd's are 100% originals, I buy all my stuff from play.com and amazon, yet it keeps happening, normally at the same place each time.

What could be causing this? Any ideas?

can you see on the disk like a oil mark in the layers
this is the layer that has not been glued right.
if you can this can cause dvd error and pixel breakup

is the dvd player standalone or pc base
