View Full Version : Ripping game so I can add correct files for iXtreme FW

I have a few discs which used to work fine pre-iXtreme but I have since tested them on DVDMulleter and they are now showing as not compatable (ie missing certain files).

How do I rip the iso from the disc to add the correct patches? I know where to get and how to patch the files to the iso but I don't know how to get the iso from the disc?

Thanks

If it's a backup already you can rip it to an ISO using ImgBurn (free from www.imgburn.com (http://www.imgburn.com)) in read mode. This also works to rip stealth patched backups and keep the stealth patching intact.

Thanks m8 but I'm having a few probs. I've ripped the file using imgburn as suggested but when I open the iso in DVD Mulleter it says it's an odd size and then when I add the patch taken from http://www.360patches.com/ it still says it's not iXtreme compatable. What do I need to do to get this to work?

Thanks again

Some games a just plain weird.

Snooker doesnt appear to be a valid 360 game for me, COD2 has a dangerous error or something

fight night 3 reports as an odd size for me. if you get that error on other games the only thing you can do is find another source for it.

That's what I'm ripping. Does that mean it can't be done then and I'll have to download it again?

Probably your easiest bet ;)

Good luck - I've not been able to find a version so far that doesn't report as an odd size.

I have a fight night 3 here that shoed as iXtreme 1.1 compatable IIRC.

Just tried it in XDM 9.7 beta - Errors when checksumming the video partition.

I seem to be onto something now as I've now got all the boxes ticked except for the 'iXtreme Compatable' box. Does this mean it's still missing something or is one of the files incorrect?

After patching with PFI/DMI, try inserting the video. This has worked for me on several games. Just click the Video tab, then click insert video. It will ask if you want to insert video on the PFI, say yes and let it work.

Hope that helps.
