XBOX and hd not working ??

my 360 says having tryed 2 component leads that i havnt got it switched to hdtv on the lead when i have twice so it says hd disabled and wont work.. any ideas tryed 2 different branded component leads now, the component looks better than the scart but isnt hd looks crap..

is this a common thing would another input method work? what else can i try vga?

Well I cant even understand your 1st post, may be the beer but I onestly can not see what you're asking.

If I have m cable set to TV it plays through the HD ports in 'crap mode"

Have it on HDTV its perfect

Have you trid the official lead?

sorry il re word lol, dont actualy have the official lead but going to regain controll of it tonight to try.. have 2 aftermarket component leads and with both set to hdtv neither work, xbox says not on the right lead setting when itis? im boggleed?

Id try an officail one before taking any action mate, could save you alot of hassle.
